Google Now can provide you boarding pass | Online Check in made easy | Concept video on You Tube

Here is a latest update from Google on a new technology. Google Now, the android 4.1 Jellybean based app concept video was released on You Tube and an announcement with video link was posted on android’s twitter account. According to a review by NDTV, the new app, if implemented at airports will help the dream of paperless air travel.

The key feature with Google Now is that, it will pull the data of the passengers boarding pass, once passenger, with QR code reaches the airport. Google Now app will help to generate automatic boarding pass with gate number, seat number and other information with scanning code. Google Now, if deployed may reduce the check in time of the passenger significantly and reduce huge cue lines at boarding counters of the various airlines.

According to reviews, the Google Now is now at concept level and not yet tested at any airport in India but was in test mode in some airports abroad. Probably, Google may rollout Google Now app gradually across the world. As more and more airlines are looking for cost effective solutions, Google Now is one such possible tool, which may get attraction from many fronts.
