Intex Player gaming-focused handset launched

Intex has launched the Intex PLAYER a new gaming phone with Dual SIM support. It has a 2.8-inch touch screen display, 1.3MP camera and FM Radio with recording. Intex launched the sense 3.0 dual SIM feature phone last year. It has 2 dedicated gaming buttons on the top to play over 1000 pre-loaded games. Several Indian mobile phone manufactures including Lava, G’Fivee  and Maxx have released gaming phones in the past.

It has Hindi and English language support. It also comes bundled with 4GB memory card. It has blacklist and white list options. The blacklist option allows the user to block unwanted numbers and the white list option helps one select the people who they want to stay in touch with. It has Bluetooth support as well as a USB option to connect with PCs for data transfer.


The Intex PLAYER comes in Black, White and Silver colors and is priced at Rs. 2,790. It is available at more than 15,000 distributors and reseller outlets and more than 50 INTEX SQUARES and several hypermarkets across India.

Intex Player comes preloaded with a video player (25FPS, AVI, 3GP, MP4), audio player (MP3 and WAV), sound recorder and FM radio with recording facility. It comes bundled with a FREE 4GB microSD Card and Bluetooth support, as well as a USB option to connect with PCs for data transfer. The phone also supports calling Blacklists and White lists for selectively barring or taking calls.

Intex Player ships with English and Hindi user-interface options and is available in Black, White and Silver color options for Rs. 2,790.
