Lava Iris 505 Phablet with dual sim at Rs 9,499 | Features, Specs
New Delhi: LAVA International Ltd, the New Delhi based mobile handset maker introduced below 10,000 rupees Lava Iris 505 phablet which works with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. This is the second launch in Iris series by Lava after recent launch of 506q budget smartphone.
It seems LAVA has designed the new phablet size issue, normally users facing while operating the bigger size tab. The new Lava Iris 505 seems to be designed as mobile phone with tablet features with 5 inch wide screen real estate, which users mostly enjoy the high end graphics while on the move. The new gadget has 480×854 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Of courses it runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, obvious choice for low cost phablet users.
Lava Iris 505 has 5 mega pixel camera with rear auto-focus and in-built flash facility for night shoots. This provides multiple camera options including panorama mode, smile detection to capture stunning photographs and a 0.3 mega pixel front camera for 3G video calling
The Lava Iris 505 comes with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage with expandable up to 32GB through microSD card. The smartphone is a dual sim unit which supports two sim cards of GSM networks. It also has common features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G with downloads speeds upto 21 Mbps.
The new Lava Iris 505 also has 2000mAh Lithium Polymer Battery for an extended battery life. The Iris 505 is FOTA upgradable which helps to update the handset’s software over the air, without connection to a PC or any other device.
