Philips Company has now become one of the companies that are manufacturing Android mobiles.  The company has released Philips W 930 mobile.  The mobile phone supports 3G and GSM network is the one on which the mobile runs.  The operating system in the mobile is Android v2.3 or Ginger bread Version of operating system.

Display: The display of the mobile phone is of 302 inches screen size and the resolution is 320 X 480 pixels.  The screen is of dual HVGA type with touch sensitivity and is of capacitive type.

Connectivity: The connectivity features of the mobile are EDGE/GPRS.  A Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP can be used. There is also the facility of utilizing Wi-Fi internet with the support of USB v2.0.  it is possible to send IM/Email/MMS/SMS from the phone.  The device comes with social networking apps that are pre loaded.  Accelerometer and Proximity sensors also can be found in the device.

Operating System: The operating system in the mobile is Android v2.3 or Ginger bread Version of operating system.

Hardware: The processor in Philips W 930 mobile is 650 Mhz processor.  The battery that can be found in the Philips W 930 mobile is Li ion type 2000mAh. This gives the talk time of nearly 9 hours.

Memory: The memory of the mobile is internally is 100 MB.  There is a facility to expand the external memory up to 32 GB and for this micro SD card slot or T Flash Card slot can be used.  There is also 512 MB of RAM in the device.

Multimedia: there is a camera of 5 megapixels resolutions which has the features of digital zoom and auto focus.  Multiple formats can be supported with the video and audio players in the Philips W 930 mobile.  It also supports VGA video recording.  Ringtones of AMR, Polyphonic, Mp3 and vibration are supported.  The device is also equipped with a 3.6 mm audio jack.

Price: The price of the mobile is not yet announced.
